Complaints Handling

We are committed to providing a high-quality legal service and to dealing with all our clients fairly. We acknowledge that we may not always get it right and thank you for bringing this to our attention.

  1. If you wish to make a complaint, you should first contact us in writing or by telephone. You can contact Katy Davison, who is our designated Complaints Manager and whose contact details are below:

  1. We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint, enclosing a copy of this policy and informing you of the name of the person who is dealing with your complaint. The firm takes any form of complaint very seriously. We have 8 weeks from the date we receive your complaint to fully investigate and provide our final response to you. If we have to change any of the timescales, we will contact you to explain our reasons why. You will not be charged for our time spent dealing with a complaint internally.
  1. If we are unable to resolve your complaint, then you can have the complaint independently looked at by the Legal Ombudsman. The Legal Ombudsman investigates complaints about service issues with lawyers. The Legal Ombudsman expects complaints to be made to them within one year of the date of the act or omission about which you are concerned or within one year of you realising there was a concern. You must also refer your concerns to the Legal Ombudsman within six months of our final response to you.
