Simon Richardson – Consultant Solicitor

Simon is a Consultant Solicitor at Mark Reynolds Solicitors and has more than 30 years’ experience in private client work, specialising in contentious probate and estate disputes. Simon is an accomplished former partner and head of a private client department of a large national law firm. Simon brings a wealth of knowledge to the team with his key insights and attention to detail.

Katy Davison – Practice Manager

Katy joined Mark Reynolds Solicitors in October 2014. She started her legal career in 2010 as a Judicial Clerk to the High Court Judges sitting at Manchester Civil Justice Centre. As well as gaining valuable experience throughout her career working at the High Court and various large law firms across the Northwest, she has a Bachelor of Science (BS) from The University of Manchester and a Masters in Human Resource Management (MSc) from The Open University. Katy has been handling private client files at Mark Reynolds Solicitors for seven years and has a broad knowledge of all matters relating to Wills, Probate, and Estate Administration.

Chloe Welsh – Solicitor

Having completed her law degree and LPC, Chloe qualified as a solicitor in 2024. She has nine years’ experience in Private Client work focusing on Estate planning such as Wills and Lasting Power of Attorney and has vast knowledge in Probate and Estate Administration. Chloe maintains a good relationship with Cancer Research and their Free Will Scheme. It is Chloe’s ambition to continue expanding her knowledge with the aim of becoming STEP-qualified.

Rachel Harvey – Solicitor

Rachel joined the firm in 2022 as a private client paralegal, having previously worked in a Private Client firm for 2 and a half years. Rachel completed her training contract with Mark Reynolds Solicitors and qualified as a Solicitor in 2024. She graduated from the University of Law in 2018 and completed the Legal Practice Course and Masters in 2019. Rachel has focused on Private Client law since graduating. Rachel has gained valuable experience in all types of Wills and the preparation and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney and administration of estates continuing to develop her knowledge.

Tyla-Mae Matthews – Trainee Legal Executive

Tyla-Mae is a Trainee Legal Executive with five years’ experience in Wills, Probate and Estate Administration. Prior to joining Mark Reynolds Solicitors in 2024, the last two+ years have seen her with a very well-respected and large firm where she gained valuable experience in dealing with high net worth and complex estates. Tyla is growing her expertise within a progressive private client team with the aim of qualifying as a Chartered Legal Executive.
